leather

Luckily, tears in leathers can usually be repaired to a very good result. Leather is like skin, once pierced, it will not go back to its original state like a woven fabric. What we usually do is lay the torn leather on another piece of leather underneath (for re-enforcement), and glue the area together carefully. The finished result will look like a hairline crack, and sometimes hard to see with the naked eye! If there is extensive damage such as pieces of leather missing from the area, then we'd need to replace it with  another piece of leather, which will be very visible.

The cost and result will need assessed on an individual basis.
